NGC 3608 (also MCG 3-29-22, UGC 6299 and PGC 34433) is a magnitude +10.7 elliptical galaxy located 58 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. In the sky it can be found roughly 6' north of the galaxy NGC 3607.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 14th March 1784.
