NGC 4751 (also ESO 323-29, IRAS 12500-4223, MCG -7-27-11 and PGC 43723) is a magnitude +11.2 elliptical galaxy located 96 million light-years away in the constellation Centaurus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 15th March 1836.
