NGC 4814 (also MCG+10-19-003, UGC 8051 and PGC 44025) is a magnitude +12.2 face-on spiral galaxy located 116 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 17th March 1790.
