NGC 3534 (also NGC 3534A, IRAS 11062+2652, MCG 5-26-62, UGC 6190 and PGC 33786) is a magnitude +14.3 spiral galaxy located 302 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. NGC 3534 forms an optical galaxy pair with the spiral galaxy NGC 3534B (UGC 6193, PGC 33782)
The galaxy was discovered by Russian-American astronomer Otto Wilhelm von Struve using a 38.1 cm (15 inch) refractor at the Pulkovo Observatory on the 18th March 1869.
