NGC 3237 (also MCG 7-22-3, UGC 5640 and PGC 30610) is a magnitude face-on +13.0 lenticular galaxy located 325 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 18th March 1787.
