NGC 4036 (also IRAS 11588+6210, MCG 10-17-125, UGC 7005 and PGC 37930) is a magnitude +10.7 lenticular galaxy located 67 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 19th March 1790.
