NGC 3725 (also IRAS 11308+6209, MCG 10-17-15, UGC 6542 and PGC 35698) is a magnitude +13.0 face-on spiral galaxy located 153 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 19th March 1790.
