NGC 3658 (also MCG 7-24-2, UGC 6409 and PGC 35003) is a magnitude +12.2 lenticular galaxy located 94 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 23rd March 1789.
