NGC 5341 (also IRAS 13503+3803, MCG 6-31-2, UGC 8792 and PGC 49285) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 168 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici.
The galaxy was discovered by astronomer R. J. Mitchell, assistant to Irish astronomer William Parsons using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr castle on the 24th March 1857.
