NGC 2504 (also IRAS 07572+0544, MCG 1-21-4, UGC 4152 and PGC 22414) is a magnitude +13.3 peculiar galaxy located 120 million light-years away in the constellation Canis Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 25th March 1864.
