NGC 3545 (also NGC 3545A, MCG 6-25-17 and PGC 33894) is a magnitude +13.8 elliptical galaxy located 398 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major. The galaxy lies close to NGC 3545B
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 26th March 1884.
