NGC 4825 (also MCG -2-33-70 and PGC 44261) is a magnitude +11.7 lenticular galaxy located 205 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 27th March 1786.
