NGC 4714 (also MCG -2-33-18 and PGC 43442) is a magnitude +13.7 lenticular galaxy located 197 million light-years away in the constellation Corvus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 27th March 1786.
