NGC 2759 (also MCG 6-20-33, UGC 4795 and PGC 25718) is a magnitude +13.0 elliptical galaxy located 319 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 20th March 1787.
