NGC 3523 (also IRAS 10594+7523, MCG 13-8-53, UGC 6105 and PGC 33367) is a magnitude +12.9 spiral galaxy located 329 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 2nd April 1801.
