NGC 4787 (also MCG 5-30-121, UGC 8026 and PGC 43875) is a magnitude +14.4 lenticular galaxy located 349 million light years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 3rd April 1867.
