NGC 5655 (also IRAS 14284+1411, MCG 2-37-20, UGC 9333 and PGC 51857) is a magnitude +13.2 spiral galaxy located 239 million light years away in the constellation Boötes.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector on the 4th April 1831.
