NGC 2786 (also IRAS 09108+1238, MCG 2-24-2, UGC 4861 and PGC 26008) is a magnitude +13.3 spiral galaxy located 221 million light years away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector on the 5th April 1864.
