NGC 3622 (also IRAS 11171+6730, UGC 6339 and PGC 34692) is a magnitude +13.2 spiral galaxy located 60 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 6th April 1793.
