NGC 2904 (also MCG -5-23-3 and PGC 26981) is a magnitude +12.3 elliptical galaxy located 108 million light-years away in the constellation Antlia.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 11th April 1834.
