NGC 4659 (also MCG 2-33-7, UGC 7915 and PGC 42913) is a magnitude +12.1 face-on spiral galaxy located 22 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 12th April 1784.
