NGC 4713 (also IRAS 12474+0534, MCG 1-33-18, UGC 7985 and PGC 43413) is a magnitude +11.7 spiral galaxy located 30 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 17th April 1786.
