NGC 4193 (also IC 3051, IRAS 12113+1326, MCG 2-31-53, UGC 7234 and PGC 39040) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located 114 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 17th April 1784. The galaxy was rediscovered by Arnold Schwassmann in November 1900, and relisted as IC 3051.
