NGC 4922 (also NGC 4922-1, IRAS 12590+2934, MCG 5-31-99, UGC 8135 and PGC 44896) is a magnitude +13.0 elliptical galaxy located 329 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 19th April 1865.
