NGC 4467 (also MCG 1-32-80 and PGC 41169) is a magnitude +13.8 elliptical galaxy located 66 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. NGC 4467 forms a visual pair with Messier 49.
The galaxy may have been observed by German-British astronomer Frederick William Herschel at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 23rd January 1784. The galaxy was independently discovered by Russian astronomer Otto Wilhelm von Struve using a 38.1 cm (15 inch) refractor on the 28th April 1851.
