NGC 5804 (also IRAS 14554+4952, MCG 8-27-38, UGC 9627 and PGC 53437) is a magnitude +13.1 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 190 million light-years away in the constellation Boötes.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 15th May 1787.
