NGC 5934 (also MCG 7-32-11, UGC 9862 and PGC 55178) is a magnitude 13.9 barred spiral galaxy located 262 million light-years away in the constellation Boötes.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 12th June 1880.
