NGC 6852 (also PK 42-14.1, IRAS 19581+0135, and WD 1958+015) is a magnitude +12.6 planetary nebula located in the constellation Aquila. The central star is at magnitude +17.9
The planetary nebula was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 25th June 1863.
