NGC 6054 (also IC 1183, MCG 3-41-103 and PGC 57086) is a magnitude +14.2 lenticular galaxy located 469 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 27th June 1886. The galaxy was rediscovered by Guillaume Bigourdan in June 1888 and relisted as IC 1183.
