NGC 6112 (also MCG 6-36-17 and PGC 57762) is a magnitude +14.0 elliptical galaxy located 428 million light-years away in the constellation Corona Borealis.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 7th July 1880.
