NGC 6378 (also MCG 1-44-9, UGC 10884 and PGC 60418) is a magnitude +13.5 spiral galaxy located 308 million light-years away in the constellation Ophiuchus.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 13th July 1876.
