NGC 6926 (also IRAS 20305-0211, MCG 0-52-33, UGC 11588 and PGC 64939) is a magnitude +12.4 barred spiral galaxy located 270 million light-years away in the constellation Aquila.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Datchet, England on the 21st July 1784.
