NGC 6768 (also NGC 6768-1, ESO 337-18, MCG -7-39-10 and PGC 62997) is a magnitude +12.2 elliptical galaxy located 256 million light-years away in the constellation Corona Australis.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 4th August 1834.
