NGC 6424 (also MCG 12-17-1, UGC 10932 and PGC 60552) is a magnitude +14.1 elliptical galaxy located 359 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 5th August 1885.
