NGC 6260 (also MCG 11-20-29 and PGC 59142) is a magnitude +13.9 face-on spiral galaxy located 302 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 5th August 1886.
