NGC 7010 (also IC 5082, MCG -2-53-24 and PGC 66039)is a magnitude +13.0 elliptical galaxy located 390 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius. The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 6th August 1823. The galaxy was rediscovered by Guillaume Bigourdan in August 1886 and relisted as IC 5082.
