NGC 6286 (also Arp 293, IRAS 16577+5900, MCG 10-24-84, UGC 10647 and PGC 59352) is a magnitude +13.3 spiral galaxy located 253 million light-years away in the constellation Draco. The galaxy is close to the magnitude +13.2 spiral galaxy NGC 6285.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 13th August 1885.
