NGC 7591 (also IRAS 23157+0618, MCG 1-59-38, UGC 12486 and PGC 70996) is a magnitude +13.0 barred spiral galaxy located 228 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 14th August 1864.
