NGC 7781 (also MCG 1-60-47 and PGC 72785) is a magnitude +13.9 edge-on spiral galaxy located 260 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 16th August 1830.
