NGC 7547 (also Arp 99, MCG 3-59-13, UGC 12453 and PGC 70819) is a magnitude +13.7 barred spiral galaxy located 219 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 26th August 1827.
