NGC 7477 (also PGC 1245518) is a magnitude +15.7 visual double star and background spiral galaxy located in the constellation Pisces.
The double star was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 9th September 1866.
