NGC 7721 (also IRAS 23362-0647, MCG -1-60-17 and PGC 72001) is a magnitude +11.6 spiral galaxy located 60 to 93 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clay Hall in Old Windsor on the 10th September 1785.
