NGC 7342 (also MCG 6-49-54, UGC 12126 and PGC 69374) is a magnitude +13.9 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 371 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 11th September 1872.
