NGC 5882 (also IC 1108, HD 135456 and ESO 274-PN7) is a magnitude +9.4 planetary nebula located 3,000 light-years away in the constellation Lupus.
The planetary nebula was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at his Feldhausen Observatory at Wynberg in Cape Town on the 27th September 1834.
The planetary nebula was rediscovered by Williamina Fleming in 1894 and relisted as IC 1108.
