NGC 1324 (also IRAS 03225-0555, MCG -1-9-38 and PGC 12772) is a magnitude +12.7 spiral galaxy located 265 million light years away in the constellation Eridanus. 

NGC 7576 was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 Inch) speculum reflecting telescope at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 5th October 1785.
