NGC 3698 (also NGC 3695, MCG 6-25-78, UGC 6490 and PGC 35389) is a magnitude 13.9 barred spiral galaxy located 476 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major. The galaxy was discovered by Danish-Irish astronomer Robert Stawell Ball using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector on the 31st March 1867.
