NGC 6527 (also UGC 11094, MCG 3-46-9, IRAS17595 +1943 and PGC 61297) is a magnitude 14.2 spiral galaxy (Sa), located in the constellation of Hercules.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 6th June 1886.
