NGC 3820 (also MCG 2-30-14, HCG 58E and PGC 36308) is a magnitude +14.5 spiral galaxy located 280 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 29th April 1865.
