NGC 6265 (UGC 10624, MCG 5-40-11 and PGC 59315) is a magnitude +14.2 lenticular galaxy located 447 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 28th June 1864.
