NGC 6157 (MCG 9-27-39 and PGC 58101) is a magnitude +14.5 lenticular galaxy located 426 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 28th June 1886.
